Four teams, all advanced to the final over this Labor Day weekend, total 18 games.

Is this a record?

Plus, Finalist in Las Vegas, Champ of SuperCopa, Took two top teams to Surf, all happened in 2016.

What a great achievement !

I think the better question is this? Historically, when has a tier 1 team ever lost to another tier 1 team by a margin of 7+? Or a tier 1 team gone to a big tournament and lost by that margin?

I don't think he's referring to DM.
I'm about 99% that DM did not go to Surf this year. It was the weekend immediately after Nationals where he did coach.
Think it was JH who had 4 teams advance this weekend- although 1 got knocked out by another in the semis.
JH did win Super Copa too.
I don't think DM played in Super Copa, but I'm not sure.
Big fan of JH and based on the description, think this more likely about him than DM- whom I'm also a big fan of...
