If your kid is seriously looking to play in college, and paying $5k+ per year for your kid to play soccer doesn't stress you out much, then you'll probably find the extra info you get for the $50 yearly subscription to TDS worth your while.
If your kid isn't seriously looking to play in college, and/or paying $5k+ per year for your kid to play soccer puts your family in financial hardship and/or causes you severe agita, then you likely won't find the extra info you get for the $50 yearly subscription to TDS worth your while.

Though far from perfect, TDS is probably the best soccer news source and rating/ranking service out there. Many player bios on college rosters now say "was a TopDrawerSoccer.com top whatever". In addition to what bwg said, if college coaches paying attention to TDS, it might be a good resource for you and your daughter.
It's also important to create a player profile for TDS to know she exists (free). Unless she is on the GNT, then they'll create one for her.
