does your DD wear different shoes for grass fields (cleats) vs. turf fields (turf shoes)? or does she wear the same firm ground cleats for both?

depends on how my DD's arches, ankles, and Achilles heel feels that day. If she feels good she wears her cleats because she has better control over the ball. If anything sore, she wears turf shoes.. Gives her comfort but less control over the ball for whatever reason.. I suppose it's because cleats are more form fitted to her foot and she can feel the ball better than with turf shoes that tend to maybe have thicker soles/leather.. just a theory though..

Also less injuries on turf fields with the correct boots

Yes. That is what I think also. Injury prevention by wearing turf shoes, but most girls seem to still wear cleats when playing on artificial turf. Not sure why?

My kid likes her cleats for the lift on the ball when she's doing her shooting drills to the corners and loves to hear the metal chime in the back. Likes the indoor shoes for better ball control for the skills routines. She feels like her shot is stronger w the outdoor shoes. It really depends on the quality of the turf we have played in the briarpatch and the garden of eden. Make sure the turf is solid.

Mine wear rain boots right now...
But they normally wear turf shoes. They aren't select yet so more an injury prevention, but have worn both.

Might be parents wear too, just slap a club sticker on the side and mark them up... You can keep a big flask in those puppies as well.
