What Compettitive league is the best?

Arlington, Plano premier, lake highlands classic ?? are there any other competitive leagues? and where do they rank in terms of player skill and team development?

Depends on the age I believe as ECNL and DA aren't available until later and LHGCL starts with 9/10 year olds.

I don't think we really know what leagues and teams stack up. This looks good on paper. With all the cheating and shenanigans going on I call bullshiz.

After the news of the day, how can DA2 be better than ECNL?  We have 2 high levels right now locally with DA and ECNL.  None of the DA clubs have a good DA team and a good ECNL team.  You guys are smoking the fuzz in your DA pompoms.

Your ranking is flawed. If you have ever seen a composite game from almost (no all) age groups then you would know that D1/D2 and Composite are essentially the same players.

JDL is is a development league and most coaches treat it that way. It's pooled for the most part, the coaches are low key, and treat the games as development with a lot of player position movement, emphasis on possession, etc. A large majority of the JDL kids you will also see on the LH pitch at all levels from D1 to D3 on any given weekend. These kids are directly rostered or they are CPP to the LH teams every single weekend for the most part.

I have only seen 3 DA matches and they looked just like all the ECNL matches I see so I wouldn't say DA is above ECNL

This was the last time someone could rank the leagues with any certainty and kids played at the correct level for the most part.

PPL in my opinion is a much better league than Primetime.

Seriously, how does one go about ranking a league, DA2, not yet in existence, as the No. 2 league?  But perhaps more importantly, DA2 will probably never exist. Now, that said, will something like DPL exist?  Sounds probable, but it won’t be sanctioned by DA and why would it be the No. 2 league?  Are DDs going to choose something like DPL over ECNL?  If wed to a club, and sold a bill of goods about having a rare opportunity to play for the DA team, perhaps, but it sounds like a poor choice to me.

Try being a bit more objective with folks looking for honest information.

What is also interesting is due to the misguided application of CPP, there is not much difference between the bottom 5 D1 teams and the 10 D2 teams in many of the LH age groups. The biggest difference I see between the D2s and the bottom 5 D1s is the D2 are mostly made to stand on their own where the Bottom 5 D1 teams apply CPP to win must win games to stay in D1. On any given day a top 5 D2 team can beat a bottom 5 and sometimes a #3 D1 team when playing straight up. There does appear to be a wide disparity in a top 1 and 2 D1 team and the rest of the teams in LH across most of the age groups. I believe this is mostly due to an ECNL team also playing LH so they can compete in State Cup.

C'mon Bige...You should double down and push the virtues of DA2. They have a psychology "student" on staff, they watch a little less film than DA, they can play half the HS season, coaches are required to have a B license, kids will get a 20% discount off of the 30% dues increase etc.....

There's only so much bending over and squealing like a piggy  people can take before they don't buy the crock of crappola.
