I disagree....I know many coaches that act appropriately. He has a control issue.when thins don’t go his way, he throws fits! Also, thinks way to highly of himself. Most coaches do but he takes it next level.

No doubt it can get extreme, but I think if you look at the "top" coaches in the age group you'll see issues all around. Not saying any of it is right, just that it's not as isolated as we all think.

My daughter has played for 5 coaches, all but one cursed in front of the players.

I like the way you roll db. If someone's kid isn't dropping the f bomb or calling other players b#*#hes then send them over to foxys trailer and I'll teach them how to be trash on the field.

Who's not teaching their Red Card players to use all that Christian language by 14/15? You people need to get a leg up on this. I've been teaching Suzy Soccer Star all of this for years. Every night of the week we pick a letter out of the alphabet and go over the possibilities. Soccer Spelling B.

From the temper tantrums to the most hateful of words, it will continue as long as people are willing to let their kids play for him. This is not the first year, for those of you that know. Among this last year, it was Hey, lets cancel practices, secretly text and email certain players from the team to go practice with Solar , each week, even though the ECNL season was not.over.
Both clubs knew this was not right, yet closed their eyes and pretended nothing was going on.. So it doesn't shock me, no action was taken this time.

Not the only coach who loses his temper.

Not the only coach who can be demeaning to his players.

Not the only coach who curses.

Not the only coach who recruits players.

At this point the whole world knows these coaches. Don't want to deal with it don't let your kid play for him / them.

However, please tell me which "top coach" in this age group has a squeaky rep? Pulp? LW? JK?, GA? so on and so forth. People play for them because they're willing to put up with the "abuse" for the wins, development, or letters behind the team's name.

Some have been witnesses but haven't actually been victims of....
Somehow, these coaches know who and who not to mess with like that. There are parents that dont believe in writing letters and following the manuscript in reprimanding coaches and rather follow the "vigilante" approach and address it themselves.

Any parent that is a certified attorney that would work pro bono are the untouchables.

Someone mentioned a board review. Anyone know if it happened? Would like to see the minutes of that hearing.

Nope.  Personally, I like the guy and have a lot of respect for him as a coach.  

Regardless of whether or not you think you know him or the real details of what went down, posting stuff like this on a public forum is both deplorable and irresponsible.

If they choose to allow their daughter to continue playing for him, they will no doubt ultimately meet the man who is vindictive, malicious, and cruel. To him, everyone's child is disposable once he makes them his target, no matter how bright, respectful, kind, or gifted they may be.

If you're a parent of a current player, I urge you think twice about allowing your daughter to spend more time under his 'care.' If you've been lucky enough to have a child miss out on his 'mentoring,' I'd suggest you keep it that way, and consider how hurtful and damaging your own comments are having no first-hand experience with him.

As an adult, how were you on the receiving end of his intimidation? If things were/are as bad as some are saying, I'd march my a$$ into the Solar office and DEMAND to speak to AS or someone above him. Feelings get hurt and folks overreact. As the parent you need to set expectations just like JK does. If you don't, then don't complain. Just my $.02

Easier said than done. These days its like pulling teeth to get a release. Wouldn't you feel cheated if the season started, then "IF" all this say so happened, and you dropped $3500 in full .. You can "EXPECT" not receiving monetary payment back.. Just my $.02

Please explain how a soccer coach can intimidate and attack a parent. I get all the eunuchs that anonymously attack other kids, coaches, clubs on this blog, but this post truly mystifies me. Help me understand.

Who are these players and parents that join these teams without knowing who the coaches really are? Love him or hate him, Joey has been Joey since day one. Same goes for Lee, Pulp, and others. It's not like they're some nobody who just came on the scene and is coaching PPL. It's not a matter of if, but of when and how bad their wrath will be when it's your daughter's turn.

Bash JK all you want. He'll fill his team right back up with players. Simple truth is that very few coaches teach your daughter the game as well as he does. I've had three different coaches tell me that they know a girl he coached very quickly due to their work ethic and skill set. The only other coach I've heard this about is Lee.

Point was simply, most of the guys have some form of baggage parents have issues with, temper, lack of loyalty, recruiting players, so on and so forth. Never meant to infer that they all suffered from the same affliction.
