Liverpool Alonso - coached by Director of Coaching Tom Blencoe - is looking to fill 1 or 2 spots to round out a talented and cohesive 11v11 team. Open tryouts are held at Blue Sky in the Colony on Mondays/Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. If you are looking for a postiive coaching and parent environment - come check us out. Parents considering this team need to know they qualified for Classic by having ECNL players play on their team during the Classic Qualifying tournament, while the normal team players sat the bench. Take that as you will, but they made Classic with ECNL players that won’t be on the team in the Fall.

Rusty123 - before you call a team out for things you know nothing about - know your facts. Secondly - keep this positive - we are talking about 12 year olds. Keep your negative thoughts and bitterness to yourself.

That's a strong rebuttal but why would anyone keep these facts to themselves: this team played with 2 players from Liverpool Redknapp (Classic 1 going to ECNL), these players only played for Alonso in games during the qualifying tournament and did not play with Alonso during the previous league games. It's hard to keep the focus on 12 year old boys when adults are interfering. Hopefully any 12 year old boys who didn't qualify for Classic because they lost to this team can stay positive I love you

No horse in the race, but I believe that ccsai locks the rosters and does not allow guest players after mid April. Is it possible they switched teams because they don't want to play ECNL?

Did you see this team play during the season or in tournaments?? They had a pretty decent record at the end of season and in tournaments playing good teams. They play a really good style of soccer passing like crazy. They tied my BBs D1 team by playing soccer, not kick ball. This coach also appeared to play everyone on the team a fair amount when we played them.

BTW, ECNL players CAN dual roster to Classic league teams regardless. You are going to see this a lot as all players want additional game time.

Making a lot out of losing is my guess.

This team also beat the at the time the number 2 or 3 team in D2 the last game of the season and I assure you there were no guest players as that ECNL team was in D1. And if ECNL players were used during qualifying I am pretty sure I know of some other clubs did as well. Sounds like you have something against either this team or the club but bashing them only makes you look bad.
