Does anyone else feel jilted when we watch these games and see all the players that play in MSL and not our own?

Soccer pays lip service to good officiating and that comes from the very top. Tradition trumps correct calls, a completely YourApeeIn attitude. I’m just happy Sepp Blatter could be in Russia to receive his bag of cash from Putin in person.

Nope not at all. We did not earn a spot. This could be a blessing in disguise putting the USA egos in check.

As for the referees, I do not envy their position. Therefore giving them the benefit of dought, and applauding their efforts up to this point.

One of better World Cups in recent years, IMO. Would love for the US to be in it but honestly that has not squandered my viewing. In fact, I have seen my productivity at work go way down from 9:00 to 11:00 and 1:00 to 3:00. Almost disappear. Smile

Not really.

Seems as if many of the MLS players are concentrated on teams who are not advancing out of the group stages.

What is clear is that most countries participating have a pretty clear style/approach whatever you want to call it for their national teams.

We seem to try and cobble together a hodge poge of players developed under differing styles and approaches and hope they can figure out how to play together.

Usually looks like Frankensoccer.

Sling freezes up on me only during the games, I believe its a provider conspiracy to Dribble me to buy into their cable subscription. Anyone else having issues with freezing?

I have had Sling get slow for big college football games but haven't noticed for World Cup. Conspiracy I believe in is when OTA channels that have been coming in fine all week crap out for big sports events.
