I was checking out the Liverpool website and it is not functional + looks like bunch of teams left them - are they still around ?

Thanks - wow. I was just about to look for a team at LiverPool - ant inside if the club is stable after the change and initial teams migration to other clubs ?

I am a Liverpool 06G mom and yes some teams have left. Our team will transition to Dortmund and we have felt minimal impact of the change but am aware that teams/coaches/personnel have left. The vibe of our team and the 08G team that trains with us is excitement.

Thank you - I always look at the club name as seconday - what matters is coach and team dynamic. The only time when club matters is when they can't provide fields.

Yes!! Coaching is key and I think you made a great point. The enthusiasm we feel is definitely attributed to our coach (same coach for both teams) and we would follow him regardless of the club name.

Hi All, My name is Chad and I'm new to this forum. I registered specifically because I wanted to reply to this thread. I am an assistant coach for my daughters REC team and she also plays on Liverpool 2011 team and sometimes the 2010 team that I do not coach at all. We have played for two years and it's been a great experience. The transition has not really affected us at all as the Liverpool soccer fields will change over to Dortmund fields at the same location in Frisco, Texas. Nothing changes from that standpoint. Our coach is looking for new 2011 players as his team is not filled for the upcoming fall season, but he has an almost complete 2010 team. if you have a 2011 daughter interested in playing please feel free to connect with me, I'll link you to the head coach, and you can bring her to some of the practices to check out if the fit is good for you. We will be getting new Dortmund uniforms in the next few months as well. I have seen some clubs trying to poach from our team as well. I have received emails about other clubs a few times also. I have no affiliation with Liverpool or Dortmund, just a regular soccer dad with a regular daily job.

I know FCD is on the hunt and poaching is taking place at all levels. Watch out for Toto Schmugge he will sell you a bridge just to get you on one of his teams.
