Seeking team for 09 boy from Colombia

Good day,

We are adopting a 9 year old boy from Colombia that loves soccer.  The boy doesn’t speak English yet. Do you have Spanish speaking coaches for his age range? We live in McKinney therefore we would like him to play near home.

Also if you can explain how registration works if it is monthly and the schedule available, availability, price or any other information we may need.

Check with North Texas Soccer as well. You may need documentation for international clearance since he was born in Colombia.

Price varies by club. How good ar soccer is he?

He will have US citizenship. As for skill level, he still needs to be evaluated. We are still in Colombia and obtain adoption decree this week. Just trying to look ahead seeing as signings are July 1st.

He loves his futbol and is enamored with Colombian teams. He appears to have good footwork.

He will require international clearance. Anyone born outside of the US requires it regardless of citizenship. The player on our team was adopted from China as an infant and has US Citizenship and a State birth certificate.  The club you choose can help you through the process, you can also contact your local association for guidance.  Please note the process can be lengthy the player we had was done in less than a month but i have heard others have taken 6-9 months.

Solar North Division is looking for players for more than one team to fill out their rosters for July 1 signing day.
