What is taking so long in getting schedule out?? Schedule should be out at least 1 week in advance.....Maybe they extended the sign up too late on the calendar. Families have multiple kids with multiple sports are we are trying to put a weekend game plan in place... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

My sources tell me schedules not out to managers and they are hopping mad. And referees that need to work around their DD/DS game schedule should really be unhappy.

Odd schedule set up. One bracket of 4 teams plays round-robin while two "brackets" of 3 teams do not play anyone in their own bracket. It begs the question: "Is a bracket of teams really a bracket if they do not play each other?" LOL!!

Since you are guaranteed 3 games, with a bracket of 3, then you have the problem of who gets the tough opponent in the crossover game. This way each team plays the same schedule. Everyone goes to the playoffs anyway.

Only 8 teams out of 10 make quarterfinals....not everyone. The gold bracket with FC Dallas JDL, Solar South, Dallas Texans Scarfone and Texas Spirit is a tough bracket....Did Plano even look at rankings?

Bracket 1 is very tough. That bracket has 2 guaranteed spots in the quarterfinals though, with the potential for 3. Bracket 2 and 3 are only guaranteed 1 spot in the quarterfinals, with a potential for 2. I guess there are some scenarios that might allow all 3 teams from Bracket 2 and 3 to advance, but seems like Bracket 1 has the best chance of 3 teams advancing...maybe even all 4.

Bracket 3 teams only play Bracket 2 and vice/versa. Should be hard brackets for everyone.

Smugrr, that is super strange. So Wildcard 1 definitely has to come from Bracket 1 then. While I think that looks like the toughest bracket from top to bottom, you have the highest likelihood statistically of at least making the quarterfinals.

I already emailed Plano about the schedule snafu on the wildcard game scheduled to start at 2:00, same start time as pool game...Needs changed to 5pm like others

3 games are scheduled at 12:30 that day too. 12:30 followed by 2:00pm would be insane. I think the 2pm quarterfinal has to be a typo.

Standard operating procedure for most (if not all) tourneys. They release the schedule then teams complain or have conflicts so they pull the schedule down to make adjustments

Some great competition in that top bracket with so many back and forth games and some great showings by teams that haven't always been at the very top. Congrats to Angelone. Looks like South and Angelone both had their work cut out for them to get to the finals.
