Hey, I have no complaints since moving down the street from Chinn, but I do miss seeing you in line for morning donuts. 😂

Still hit up the Promenade Drive-thru a couple times per week. Pretty much just the owners there these days though... Doesn't look like donuts are in your diet any more these days...

Looks like a clear consolidation in favor of ECNL around these parts per the Soccerwire Top 100 national club rankings. .

Texas ECNL:
2. Solar
5. FC Dallas
21. Sting Dallas
27. DKSC
43. Albion
62. Challenge
66. Texans
92. Tulsa SC
97. Classics Elite
NR Sting Austin
NR Oklahoma Celtic

And apparently Sting Austin (from Lonestar), Oklahoma Celtic (from Energy), and Challenge and Albion (from Dash) have already picked up a lot of new top players for next year and should be much stronger.

Frontier GA:
26. Sporting Blue Valley
29 Lonestar
64. Lou Fusz
74. Dash
87. Colorado Rush
NR Oklahoma Energy
NR Rise SC
NR West Side Alliance
NR San Antonio City FC

Several current GA clubs in the Top 100 will struggle to hold those spots with all the rumored player defections to ECNL.

Central Texas is upside down. Sting Austin merged with Austin Texans. Lonestar is hemorrhaging players. Sting is grabbing handfuls of players from 04 and younger and Classics Elite has benefitted by snapping up the San Antonio Lonestar players. ECNL Texas is going to be fun as hell.

Have a feeling DPL will be NPL or a combination/variation of something like that. If DPL makes it, I am sure it will have new teams that didn't exist in the system before. Locally teams like BVB, Fever etc. that aren't eligible for the other Circus will become eligible for the new circus.

It seems from the number of tryout notices, everyone is treating the spring as over and on to fall teams.

The lonestar circus was expected.
1. What is are dash players doing ?
2. Sting Dallas got a second ECNL slot in Texas conference. That makes it 3 slots in texas for them. Any commentary on this

Sting Austin is going to be much more competitive next year. It hasn't been a good few weeks for Lonestar. Regarding your questions...

1. Dash are rumored to be losing their top 3-6 players (depending on age group) to Challenge and Albion. Will hurt, and moves Challenge and especially Albion well ahead of them competitively, but it hadn't been a mass exodus and Dash still should be solid in the GA League.
2. It speaks to the grosser nature of ECNL that Kenny has 3 teams. Sting Austin's spot should have gone to Lonestar and Sting Dallas 2's spot should have gone to Solar (though if you ask me it seems nobody should have two, Texans should be dropped, and Dallas should just have 4 teams).

I don't feel all that strongly about it, but an even number of teams makes for one less road trip from us out-of-towners (two games for a weekend visit to travel partners is ideal to me) and they seem to be clearly behind the other Dallas ECNL clubs. Well, maybe not Sting 2.

Centex, you've been right about a number of things, kudos on the intel.  IMHO, 6 is way too many ecnl teams for NTX.  Not enough talent.  4, as you noted, would be ideal.

Will the masses flock to Kenny's Soccer Club to be on the B team?  I guess time will tell.

Better hope so, right? Are there any age groups where last year's Sting ECRL team would be expected to compete favorably in next year's ECNL conference?

ECNL should be excellent next year with the addition of the FCD and Solar DA teams (and Texans). Apparently Challenge, Albion, Classics Elite, and Celtic will all be stronger than they were in the past with some pickups of local ex-DA players.

One thing seems off to me, though... .

This past season, Solar ECNL were in the top 5 in every age group but one (06s were 7th).  Sting ECRL didn't win a single ECRL age group.

And yet Solar 2, with an average finish of 4th in ECNL is being told to swap places with Sting 2, who had an average finish of 3rd place in ECRL.

Couple that with Sting getting the nod in Austin over Lonestar (a top 30 club nationally) despite the negative 200+ goal differential in every year of the club's existence, and you gotta wonder what sort of incriminating photos Medina has of Lavers.

Drive to Austin / San Antonio or Houston or OKC to play  is an absolute waste of time. Ideally , there are 5 ECNL clubs here, put 10 teams here in Dallas and play double headers locally. Or even have one game on Saturdays and use sundays as a backup for rain day or recovery day when you play on turf.

This ECNL was a mess created by fcd and is just waste of time , IMO sting is reaping rewards for staying loyal to ECNL.

I’ve seen this on a few boards. There is no influx of Energy to Celtic. Energy has lost about 6-7 girls to TSC who lived in Tulsa. But as of now I have not heard of any 08-04 leaving for Celtic.
