I keep hearing rumors that age pure is going away. This would be the time to undo that mistake.

Be careful we aren't correcting one mistake by making another....Older age groups went through this beating already and are in no rush to do it again.

Rumors are rumors right? Sometimes they are baseless, but when you hear it enough times from coaches and parents you start to believe that there is some merit.

Four months ago I heard a parent ask a DA coach about the possibility of DA going away. The coach laughed it off as rumor yet here we are.

Just curious if anyone else is hearing the same thing and if timing has been decided yet.

I would hope lead time would be a year or more. We have enough uncertainty as it is.

Agree a rumor is a rumor. However if the rumor comes from a reliable source some may say "where there is smoke there is fire".

I am pretty sure that parent that said they heard DA was going under is probably the same parent that said we are going age pure. I heard the stock market is going to rebound. Better yet I heard that an MLS team is going to fold. All made up stories I just conjured up in my head.

Not saying it can't happen. However, there could be merit if the source is "reliable".

With ECNL running its own platform that has college recruiting and exposure as a primary benefit, I could see their families supporting the change. Wouldn't need anyone's permission to do it, but it would require teams to "play up" a year in outside tournaments.

My question to the Buckeye FB, when did USSF start caring about opinions especially random opinions from social media? Pretty sure they didn't ask anyones opinion about it when it was implemented. I am also pretty sure we won't know about it before hand if they do decide to scrap it.
