Sting Black ECRL 08G - TRYOUTS

You know that anticipation you have been feeling about soccer tryouts?  Well, my friend, that time has officially come to an end.

Sting Black ECRL 08G is officially holding OPEN TRYOUTS.  Below is the schedule for the next few days:

Friday (5/14) 6:30 - 8:00 pm @ Adventure Landing (17717 Coit Road, Dallas)
Monday (5/17) 6:30 - 8:00 pm @ Cubillo Indoor (2619 Lombardy Lane, Dallas)
Wednesday (5/19) Time & Location TBD due to potential for rain

Please let Coach Frank Colón know if you plan to attend.  Coach Frank will be the guy all hopped up on Red Bull and muttering something about missing out on fishing tonight due to tryouts.  Don't let that scare you, one of the parents will offer to grab him some tacos and he will perk right up

"MONDAY MONDAY MONDAY!!!!  One of the finest youth soccer teams in all of the land is holding Open Tryouts from 6:30-8:00 pm at Soccer Center Cubillo Training Indoor (2619 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220).  Come out and see amazing feats of skill from players from all over North Texas, as they dribble, pass and shoot while receiving instruction by the greatest coach to walk a sideline in Texas since the legendary Tom Landry.  MONDAY MONDAY MONDAY......We hope to see you there!"

***DISCLAIMER*** It should be noted that the person that normally posts for our team is out sick and so we hired that guy that does the TV commercials for the Monster Truck Rally.  Don't get us wrong, he's full of excitement, and a really great guy, but he (clearly) knows nothing about soccer and may have taken a few liberties with his praise for our team, our players and our coach.  We are really sorry about that, but we would love to have your daughter come check us out.  Just call Coach Frank (214-450-1878) and let him know to expect you. Like the Monster Truck Rally guy said, its this "MONDAY MONDAY MONDAY."  Oh, and we will also hold tryouts on Wednesday (5/19) and Friday (5/21).

Friday, May 21st - 6:00-8:00 pm @ Soccer Center Cubillo (2619 Lombardy Lane, Dallas TX 75220)

  Only a few more open tryout sessions before Coach Frank finalizes the roster, as ECRL signing day is June 1st

Ok, it's time to get real.  Can we get real for a second?  Look, we know you've seen our earlier posts.  And, we know you probably checked us out on twitter (@ecrl08) and instagram (@stingblackecrl08).  So, by now, you know that we are a laid back, taco loving, and overall fun group.  So (this is the part where we get real), why haven't we seen your daughter at our tryouts?  It's ok, we forgive you (we're nice like that).  And...guess what?  You have another chance to totally redeem yourself by bringing your daughter out to tryouts (indoors) tonight!  How great is that?

Ok ok, we hear you....and we get it.  Some of you may not be attending our tryouts because, due to the humorous nature of some of our posts, you don't think our team is serious. You see our quirky posts and you think that we are just a bunch of jokesters who can't be serious about anything.  If that is what you think, you are wrong.  Our team is serious about a lot of things but we are very serious about three things: (1) playing soccer, (2) practicing soccer and (3) eating tacos.  If you want to come out and see just how serious we are, you are welcome to attend tryouts tonight (indoors):
