07 Team Listing 5-11

Please continue to send me updates and corrections.  Team changes seem to be happening everyday.  Highlights from last update in Yellow.

According to the new FBR, the top 2 Sting teams are west of 35E and yet no JDL love from the club..the west just gets no respect

Never have, never will. Outside of DTS, I don't think there's a "satellite" location of a club that ever gets much respect.

Satellite checks cash just the same though!!

Which is kind of ironic in light of all the recent consolidation. All these teams joining the Big 5 or switching from one Big 5 to another presumably for a chance at a JDL/Champions/ECNL/DA spot, but if your team isn't willing to train at the club's HQ or you are not individually prepared to leave for a team at the HQ, then what's the point of being associated with one of the Big 5? A few teams get to control their own destiny and do their own thing (see what D'Feeters is allowing to stay relevant). Those teams are very much in the minority.

Where will the new FCD JDL team practice? Or how long before FCD says otherwise?

So is flannigan completely done?

What shocked me is that Texans gave MN Texans team a JDL spot a couple months ago, and then took it away.  So, her team is now with FCD and now has a FCD JDL spot.  Why would Texans give that spot to a "new" team, with a "new" coach?  Doesn't seem to be too smart to me.

Especially since DTS hasn't shown an ability to form a top team with the 07s. Just shows you how much power GA has. Texans better hope KS recruits sign on July 1. That would be embarrassing.

Bad move on Texans taking a risk on a coach who has never taken a girls team select.   Especially with a group of parents that are high maintenance and will probably destroy the team within a few months of signing.  Does this coach even have experience with drama parents ?    Advice to team shoppers.....stay away from KS unless you like soap operas.

I am excited for the girls on MN. They are sweethearts and work hard. However, I do feel bad for KW and her second team that thought they were the second JDL team until yesterday. I guess that is how NTX soccer goes.

They should go to Sting.

Yup. Texans bungled this one magnificently. Clearly the JDL spot to DTS was not awarded on merit in the 07 age group. Then tried to make its top performer all year to share a spot with a coach who (a) has never coached girls, (b) who is cobbling together a team that has never played an outdoor game together--therefore having no record to stand on whatsoever, and (c) is composed of families who jump around like water droplets in a hot skillet. But hey-Texans picked up some new solid boys teams with the KS acquisition. Goodness knows they need the strength on the boys' side. Unfortunately they drove away a solid girls team that stood a good chance of still existing come signing day 2018. I have no dog in that fight, but I applaud MN for calling a spade a spade and making the move. True, it does suck for KW's 2nd team. But she's a solid coach and still plenty of reason to go to her, JDL or not. Personally think JDL is overrated anyway. Like jeaton said, all's fair in love and NTX Soccer.

Wow Solar 7-1 over KS.    Time to team shop again.

Just going to say it, there is set of parents on that KS sideline that talks so nasty about previous teams and even kids on their daughter's own team. They cannot control themselves. It was so funny (their own kid) yelled at them during the game to leave her alone. My family was watching from the slope and we could hear her loud and clear! Nice kid but cancerous parents. KS better get a hold of them before they ruin this team for her. Or piss off parents on their own team?

We were at the game as well and we were appalled at the behavior of some of KS's parents. Cursing at women, yelling at kids, and just obnoxious during the PK's. Ever thought that MN left because she doesn't want you on the sidelines if she is coaching JDL or maybe her parents did not want to be affliated with you? No dog in this fight, but I know my daughter will never play for KS, no matter how good of a coach he is, with parents like that on the sideline.
