Suggestions for GK rehab on broken wrist

Anyone have suggestions for rehabbing my DD's arm after getting her cast off?

My dd fractured her wrist on both sides of the growth plate last summer. She wore a cast with a pad and her glove during QT, but when the cast was removed she was understandably uncomfortable playing. We found a (I believe McDavid) wrist brace with a metal curved plate that she could get her glove over. She didn't have any issues and she said it was very comfortable to wear. After her PT (involved squeezing a ball a lot) was completed she started playing without the brace and has not had any issues. She had her 6 month x-ray today and the DR said it was completely healed and the bone healed properly.

Long story short, I highly recommend she play and practice with a sturdy wrist brace for at least 4 weeks after the cast is removed and make sure she completes her physical therapy.
