If it is accurate, then that means a bunch of teams who registered in the QT have decided to skip both seeding tournaments:

"Accepted" and "applied" or "registered" are two different things. It's possible that there are additional teams that have applied, but have not yet been accepted.

I agree, they are heads and shoulders above the teams in the Puma Cup. They prolly wond get scored on. The upside though, it the teams there will get a taste of a LHGCL D1 team.

Seems to be more by location, most of the teams at Puma are from the southern metroplex. I know from going to the Puma in the past from McKinney/Frisco area, it was something like 1.5 hr drive each way. Would expect the same going the other way to Pizza Hut park. Its almost like a travel tourny if your're on the other side.

Alright next question, with only one "top 10" team in Puma, how good is it of a true look for the rest of the teams. This could turn out to really hurt teams such as Saints, Dynasty and FCD Red South.

They should just get rid of the Puma Cup as a tournament that assists in seeding teams. Make all of them do one tournament, with equal level of play .

Who ever is looking the the teams for seeding in the QT tournament. They should compare apples to apples. If the level of play and teams are vastly differet, how much can they really tell.

The risk for DTS is huge. Struggle any and they are likely to receive a lower seeding in QT. Win the whole thing and it probably doesn't help them at all.

The reward for the other teams could be tremendous if they can play well against them.

I am ready for my DD to play them and see where they stack up.
