Curious, who is doing this one?

It's eerie quiet out here in 03 land. Trying to spark up some good conversations.

I do know they has been a lot of movement! Some top trams have got STRONGER!

Iv'e heard SRSA got one of DTS top players?

FCD should be loaded!

There will be a lot of movement this year and before July 1, 2013. I am willing to bet that SRSA won't look anything like they look right now.

Okay, so what's happening to Prime Time tournaments? Did they fall off the face of the earth? Just looked on their website and notice the Aug 10-12 Summer Championship does not list schedules or results. I guess they did not have enough to participate?

So, is that going to be the case for this tournament, the Fall Kick off? Who's in this one?

My DD had the opportunity to play against DTS 03 this weekend in the summer classic they looked very good. They have a very strong midfield, great forwards and strong defense, so I wouldn't think they lost any top players.

I have watched DTS over the years and something did seem amiss this weekend. They were very strong Mid and Back, but no jaw-droppers upfront and not as strong a possession game as in the past. Just me sayin'.

Thanks for all the nice words, our girls had a good weekend of soccer(20+ goals for 0 against). All the girls worked extremely hard in the heat, we are very proud of all their accomplishments. We havent lost any top players, our core group has been together a long time. As with any team some players come and go. I learned along time ago North Texas Soccer is very competitive some coaches and parents will say anything to create drama dont always believe everything you hear. We look forward to playing against some great competition this fall season and want to wish all teams and players good luck, be safe and most importantly have FUN.

Lost a player ... no big deal. At this age -- kids move around. There is no story or drama. Obviously there was zero impact on DTS by looking at their scores this past weekend. Held together very strong and entire team looking forward to a new season.

Stealing is a tough word to use, we did lose a defensive player, we wish her and her parents nothing but the best. She was a good player but lucky for us we have alot
of depth in our defense. As I stated above we wish her nothing but the best, but to anwser your question all of our top player played with us this weekend.

The schedule is finally up. Looks like this will be a pretty good tournament. There will be some interesting match-ups. Good luck to all the teams and remember to hydrate starting now if you haven't already.

Anyone have any predictions?

Looks like there are some pretty good teams playing this weekend. The way the brackets are set up it looks like Bracket C could be tough. Davis and Dalglish are pretty even in my book and then who knows how many and which 03's will join the 04 Kennington team so just to get out of that bracket will be a battle.

It should be interesting too to see how the teams that have been playing 11v11 for the past two or three months do vs the teams that haven't played 11v11 before. I'm thinking for this first week you will see that little bit of extra experience pay off for teams like Cosmos Black and Sting West.

Here's what I will predict for Semis based on the format right now:

SRSA vs Cosmos Black

FC East Black vs Sting West

For the final I'll pick

SRSA over Sting West

I'll also predict that it will be hot (needed to throw that in there so I'd be assured of at least getting one thing right).

Just to mix it up...I'll predict SRSA over the team formally known as Juve.
And in the championship game..SRSA wins easily but surrenders their only Goal Against all weekend
