2012 Arlington Labor Day Schedule

I just noticed that Arlington LD schedule is out.

For such a small field it looks like there are some pretty good teams playing. Cosmos, Polaris, Dalglish, and Vitesse are all right around that top 8 to 12 range and I think the Lubbock team won Flamefest this year. From what I can remember people saying they are a very big and physical team. Heck even the 04 RASE team is a good team, although I don't know how they will hold up on the bigger fields as so far every 04 team I've seen play 11v11 over the past two weeks doesn't look like they need to be playing up, but they are probably one of the top 2 04 teams so you never know.

Should be an interesting tournament.

I thought the Labor Day Tournament was in Plano?

Yes the Labor Day Tournament is in Plano. Has about 600 teams and looks like many of the top 03 teams are playing. Should be a fun weekend.

Actually, kind of sad that an 8 team division goes straight to finals instead of having a semi-finals. Niece's division in Plano have an 8 team team division and 6 teams make it to quarters with the two bracket winners getting bye's into semi's. Just an observation

Agree. That's not cool

Biggest complaint I've heard so far is that playing 11v11 games on what are small 9v9 fields makes for very ugly soccer.

Fields aren't too bad length wise but are a little narrow in my opinion

04's Liverpool's won both Blue & Red flights down in Arlington today, not a good day for the 03's...

Congrats to 04 Daglish and RASE. Nice win over 03 daglish. Will certainly shake things up at LP!

Congrats 04 RASE - would have liked to have a chance for a rematch; if we have gotten past 03 Dalglish; if the tourney had semi's like Plano Labor Day (sorry, still can't believe a tourney with out of town teams do not offer semi's - no wonder PLD is getting bigger every year).

The 04's played like 03's, could not tell the difference and am impressed with the parents not crying foul on every knockdown. In fact, those girls dished out as much as they took.

Glad our girls won against Dalglish 03, we have certianly lost to them enough. But with any games against the older girls I am just glad we did not come out and waste anybodys time. Unfortunately I think there may not be any rematches as it is becoming difficult to play with the 03's but it was a nice way to go out.
