FCD '04 Premier

Heard that FCD has announced Diaz as the New coach for the 04 Premier Team and he is heading their Development Program. Any ideas if true? If so what time does he practice, no info on website. Times and Dates would be appreciated.

Jesse Diaz took over the 03G Premier ("pre-select") team in May to prepare them for select. They practice M, T, and R 6:30-8. Not likely he would also be taking over the 04G (or forming a brand new team) at this time. And not exactly sure where or how they would have "announced" it.

We have indeed internally announced Diaz as the Juniors & Pre ECNL, Pre Select coach. He will be in charge of the 04's and '03s and their development program; He has been given the responsibility of overseeing the development and identification of these two age groups and placing them into our ECNL and Premier Teams . Wrongsided is correct, he will be taking the 04 Premier group. If interested in the 04 group please contact him directly.

Wrongsided made it sound as if Jesse is taking over / starting a new 04G Premier team now. Is that the case? If not, when would he be forming a team? It seems like an odd time now to be trying to form a new "team", unless the focus now is on skills while the girls play out the fall season with their current teams.

I may be mistaking but I believe the girls will finish out the season with their current coach and then will transition to Diaz right after. I think he has already done a couple of training sessions for the '04s (Don't Quote me) and has fully taken over the '03 age group. I did hear that he was going to start working with this 04 age group on a consistent basis in a couple of weeks.
