Sting '03 Mendoza played in this tournament last year and didn't play any Dallas teams. We also plan to attend this year as well.

I personally did not attend but the feedback I received from my wife and daughter was very good. It rained the day before the tournament and a little the day of the tournament yet the TD kept the tournament on with just a little delay. They also commented that although it was muddy getting to the field, the actual field was unusually dry....must be the OK soil.

Of the two spring tourneys held in Tulsa, the Lexus Cup utilizes the better soccer complexes. Also, the older ages often get teams from Kansas and Arkansas.

Last year my DD played in the Friendship Cup and the fields utilized were some of the trashiest fields in the Tulsa area so if you're debating between one or the other, go with the Lexus Cup.

we went last year...sunday's games got cancelled due to weather. We played 2 dallas teams and OK team on our schedule. Wasn't happy to be playing DFW teams. The 01 bracket was combined between 00/01's. There was a tournament a week later in OK that several DFW teams went to. Can't remember. I wasnt impressed with soccer fields.

I have heard the Lexus cup to be a better tournament than the friendship cup. Just know this that with all the Dallas teams that will be making the trip. Be prepared to play each other!

Worried might be overstating it, but what this untrained eye observed was what I've observed with most of the top teams in NTX that we've played against, size, speed, toughness, strong defense, ball skills, team comraderie..am I leaving anything out? lol Nuff said on the subject..
