At first glimpse, I though solar Gio vs Texans would be good game. As I tried to research I see they have never played unless I'm missing detail.
But after this weekend I dont think it will much of a game. Texans looked pretty amazing in Michael Brown-dismantling Solar Dynamo easily.
I think Texans and FCD way above the rest. South better than they seem but not as good as top two. Think we should all get our popcorn ready for last season game when FCD and Texans play.

Yo. I wouldn't be so sure. Watch the next 3 behind those 2. They look really strong. Stronger than the first half, especially Rezaie and South. I predict one of those two is going to give them a good fight.

I think the big 2 are in a different league right now. I watched texans recently every single kid on texans is 30% bigger, stronger, and at least 10% faster. 80 pounds v 105 pounds x 11 is just domination and Higgs plays a good plan to their strengths. It looks like a contest for first and then another contest for third. We will see about Sting. They have to play every team above them for next four weeks.

Yes. Do or die there. FC and Sting both went to Austin a couple of weeks ago and played vs the same team. Same result 2-1 for both over Challenge red. If I was a coach I'd play them not to win, but for a tie. Frustrate them and wait for a mistake. Everybody wants to beat them so bad that they fall into their trap, strenght and they take over the game. Yes those two teams are tops. But everything that goes up.........has to come down at some point.

Just guessing, but I think Gio would rather lose 10-0 playing soccer rather than losing 2-0 parking anything. Just ask FCD, nothing parked anywhere

FCD Prem and DT Higg continue to prove that they are rock solid in another league. DT South's draw with FCD South seems like the greatest upset of the day, at least in terms of predictions and if a draw is really an upset at all. But everyone was predicting a one sided blowout for DT South so I guess it was. Anyone see that game and can tell us how it went?

Its gonna come down to the big game between FCD Prem and DT Higg for 1st. 3rd place is a race that any one of the next 5 or 6 teams can still win.

I thought Fever and Waco would do better than they did this week. Both teams continue to slide more than expected. Cosmos win made the demotion or stay up in D2 battle a lot more interesting. Looks like the five teams with really poor goal differentials are all still in that battle to stay up.

There is a whole half season left to play. History tells you that there will be lots of surprises to come. Right now the top two look unbeatable, but Solar Red and South looked that way a couple of months ago. A lot can happen during that time. Chinks on their armor are starting to show. It happens.

I didn't say my predictions. I said the predictions of all the posters taken as a group were pretty good. I ain't making no claims on being all knowing.

No only chinks. I'm seeing a lot of walking casts and crutches on the sidelines all of a sudden. When you walk across some of those fields, the ruts are really ugly. You gotta wonder how many injuries happen because of bumpy lumpy fields. I also wish the refs called the games a lot tighter both ways. Having your 11 year old in for xrays and mris all in the name of playing heavy duty select club soccer seems a bit over the top. If you called it tight all the time, there would be less flagrant fouls and the best teams would still win if lake highlands refing was consistent.

I think he meant there were really no big upsets unless you count FCD South and TXN South. And to be honest TX South were a little off in the Fall with some girls out due to injuries. Grubbs handled FCD blue easliy as expected and Higgy beat Gio soundly. The FCD game was one-sided, but missed the TXN game-anyone have any insight did Gio's fast frwds break thru Higgy's mid and defense to put up any shots, did they cross mid line?
I did see the Sting win as a little upset but Sting has several key players, including great keeper and a great Coach so they will be strong I'd say with some disgruntled players leaving top teams Sting could be a top three powerhouse next year. I can see Colvin girls bolting for Sting , also 1 or 2 Higgy girls and maybe 1 from FCD. Bam -top 3 team plus Q-mar.

Heard from spouse . TXN had many missed scoring oppty , and played mediocre compared to normal play. Maybe missing few? Think Gio did make some runs and had a shot. Gio played hard but appeared to have very few on the bench.

Not sure the disgruntled players from other teams could just walk on over and make the Sting team now. I don't care that their old jerseys may say Grubb or Higg or Colvin. I saw some real players on Sting last weekend. Won't be easy to win those spots.
