Interested is the ones you all have had your DD actually attend. Personal experiences would be great. Thanks!

My favorite college camp as a player was Texas A&M's I was a goalkeeper I think they have one of the top camps for that at the youth level I went twice. NOt sure on the field players side of things. I do not have any kids but i know my experiences with A&M camp was always a good one, not sure if any changes have been made now since I attended about 9 years ago.

My daughter has attended both A&M and UT. We had a group of about 8 girls go each time. 2 years ago was A&M and the girls loved it, absolutly exhausted when they got home. VERY large all girls camp. Last year they attended UT camp and all the parents were very suprised that they loved this one even more and are going back as a group again this year. A&M REALLY large group, UT alot smaller group. UT has limited number of spots each session.

there is a camp in Tulsa that is advanced and geared towards select only players. I haven't been but i hear the A&M, TCU, UNT, UT, SMU camps have too many rec players that waters down the training. Now i have heard from many that the camps are awesome. My thoughts are, that going to any of these camps will be beneficial for all campers and they will get out of it what they put into it regardless of who attends. I mean you are dealing with college programs. http://www.macssoccerschool.com/ is the program i am referring too. If you are going to pay equal money to any of these camps, why not pay that money to have fun and to get the best training possible.http://www.macssoccerschool.com/

My dd is signed up for the Jato camp at UTA next week but she is doing the Next Level Goal Keeping sessions. I read the schedule and I hope she can stay awake! She's 11 and usually gets up at 7 and goes to bed about 9. They wake up at 6 and go to bed at 11. She is going to be one tired little puppy!!!

Why not? Tulsa? I could see if you had a boy playing soccer, but is their girls' program even ranked? As for "too many rec players that water down the training" at local schools, I'm not sure where you're getting that information. Your average true rec player doesn't attend college camps. Bobby Moffat or PSA, perhaps. Most of the college camps are filled with "select" players. But then again - given the overload of club teams these days - the "select" part doesn't necessarily mean superior players.
