05G are all at Kick It at this point. Lots of 04G at Live. My team list is posted to the tournament page, and is up to date.

After our first game I caught myself commenting about long grass...then remembered the posts on here...didn't mention it again... field four is 15 steps on one side and 11 on the other...that didn't seem right either...

Field 3 and Field 4 both had a center line a good 4 yards off center maybe more.

All in all a very competitive 2nd day, lots of close games. Congrats to all those that braved the heat to play 3v3!

So what is the next 3v3 tourney everyone is doing? Heard Texans are doing one August 17-18th

Also who all is going to Disney! I heard Fab 5, Elite Cleats, Attack and possibly Wolfpack are all going.

By Disney you mean Ft. Lauderdale? Understood that Disney was taking over its own tourney and the others were moving champ tourney to FT.Lauderdale....just what I was hearing tho.

Game results looked like great competition.

Looks like Kick It has a National Invitaional in December http://www.nasportsgroup.com/events/c89/December-7-8-p147.html

But the big one is still Disney in January, as this is the one Kick It, 3v3 Live, Challenger Sports and others feed into for a Championship.

Next event for 3v3 Live is the Spookout in Round Rock....North Texas, get your costumes together and come to Central Texas on October 26th. Games will run from 1pm to 10pm. Prizes for best team costumes...best decorated tents and more. This is an incredibly fun 3v3 that has run 100+ teams for the last two years.....save the date and come on down!

So, from what I've read on here, the Vola series is a Sting in-house event? How often do they plan on running them? I hadn't heard of them til last week with all of the 3 tournaments on one weekend talk.

Their next one shows to be on a Sunday actually....wonder if that's right or a misprint. And they mention cash prizes to offset travel costs to the Disney 3v3 in Florida.....they're a Disney qualifier too?

I just checked out the results from Kick It 3v3. It looks like it was an entertaining and competitive weekend in the middle of August heat. When was the last time that ATTACK lost a game? I would expect that it has been years. That was an impressive run by Fab 5 to take the championship. They obviously made the right choice in moving over to Kick It (although I guess all the 05s did). Does anyone know who Fab 5 is or their affiliation?

Fab 5 is a D'Feeters group. I had the pleasure of chatting with the coach for a bit on saturday after the pools were completed. Really nice guy.

The heat was miserable, fields were terrible and the competition was tough, but overall it was a great experience. We lost to the two time world champs (Attack) in OT at the semi final and ended up taking 3rd. Congrats to Fab 5 for taking 1st!!! I believe they are D'Feeters

Attack last lost in June to an '04 team in the finals, last time they lost to an '05 team was a couple years back in Disney pool play I believe, it is good for the girls to drop a game periodically, as it gives them something to work on in the coming months before Disney 2014 and helps them appreciate the wins that much more.

Interesting. I was impressed with the Feet play a couple months back in a tournament. I guess they are continuing to push their way up.

I hate to hear complaints about the fields after a tournament but I guess that is what we have to deal with in NTX during the summer. They can't all be manicured like Cox Fields.

And the games definitely looked closer from the results of bracketed play on Sunday. What a great tournament (except for maybe the heat and field conditions)!
