If you click on this link and scroll over to the left and pick your team, age group, etc you can get info. Hope that helps

How does it work? Top teams in each bracket get in, top two teams, all? Just curious...

4 teams have a Bye and will be in D1. 5 teams selected "lowest division" and chose not to participate in the placement games. That leaves 28 teams playing in the PT. The top 2 teams in each 4-team division will be D1, the remaining 2 will be D2.

Division 1 = 19 teams; Division 2 = 17 teams. The Placement Tournament Committee will have final say on how the number of teams in a  bracket are determined. There will be no Promotion/Relegation in the U11 age group.


Byes = 4 teams (highlighted in Blue); Lowest = 5 teams (Highlighted in Red). 36 teams total.
Placement Tournament Format: 7 Brackets of 4 Teams. Top 2 teams from each bracket (14) + 1 WC will be Division 1. Division 2 will be the remaining teams.

Oh ok... My daughters team made D1 LHGC... Just wondering how plano went. Going to watch some games this weekend and didn't know how it worked ! Thanks!

My daughter will NOT be playing in that division. Not now, not ever...

Who is the top seed this weekend? I thought it would be Sting Sanchez since the were ranked relatively high prior to LHQT. And I'm sure I missed this somewhere but how did the 4 teams get a bye int D1?

Those were the 4 teams that finished 3rd in their week 2 brackets in the LHGCL QT, but didn't get in to LHGCL. Looks like PPL decided to reward them with a D1 bye.

Its funny, they didn't extend that same reward to 02 teams

Where are all the Texans teams going to play? They have a number of teams but not a single one in this tournament.

Very similiar to the P -1 requirement.

From memory, N represents 1/2 of your roster and N+1 basically means over half your roster. You have to keep over half your roster to keep your bye. So if you have 14 on your roster last April 1st, you have to have 8 returning to keep your slot.
