06 FBR for upcoming season

Looking for unreported scores from the Spring League Season and/or tournaments.

All Primetime league and tournaments from the Spring Season have been collected for the 06s..

Do the rankings mean anything or is it just for the parents

The rankings mean absolutely NOTHING. Just all for fun.

So does that mean you'll do FBR's for 06's? If so, let me thank you in advance...although I think BWG normally does it. Either way, it's appreciated.

Bwgophers is not going to be adding anymore age groups to his plate. He is done as of the 05s.

His work over the years has caused much debate and fun and I appreciate all the knowledge he has passed my way. Good Guy in my book.

Steak dinner on me if he is up for it one day.

I have loaded all primetime results from the spring and any other scores I could come across. I am not deviating from his SOP.

With that said don't look to see an FBR until end of September so I have more data on teams that are just getting started.

I will say what is already in the database is mighty interesting!!!

So you will do 06s - 10s? then pass the torch?

Strictly 06s at this time my friend. Not saying others aren't possible, but I like the approach BW took originally saying waiting till U8 to start.

Of course... I was thinking next year for 07s, year after for 08s...etc.. Too much moving around and 5 girl teams for 07s...08 hardly exist.

As Borussia said, I have decided to slowly back away from the supercomputer with my hands in the air.

I'm planning to see the '04's and '05's through to QT, but will hang up my slide rule and TI-55 after that.

I've recruited a worthy apprentice in Borussia and have been Beiber Beiber Fever schooling him in the dark art of FBR.

I'll also be more than happy to train up anyone in the future who wants to take it on for age groups yet to come. Although at some point, some motivated individual may have to code up their own version of the software as I fear that FBR as a commercially available product may go by the wayside in the next couple of years with the end of the BCS in sight.  No new features added to FBR this year, and the purchase price was dropped from $29.99 to $9.99.

It's been a fun ride, and I definitely accomplished what I set out to do.

Now I'm blushing BW! Haha. Hey, you da man, I'm just carrying on a good thing you guys started. Has kept my mind off this blown calf muscle.

If anyone has any SDL scores from the spring I would greatly appreciate them and will get them added to the data.

How many teams are you tracking so far

Thats a load to handle but im not surprised with Borussia's passion.  It at least serves the purpose for 06 chatter.  Borussia, you had me at hello.  

FBR currently has 39 teams in the database. I have the list of SDL teams east and west, and am now just waiting to see if anyone new pops up at Primetime, UAL, PSA, or any of the others.

FBR, once published will only reflect 06 girls teams playing 06 girls teams. If there is 06 data I can add for anyone that is normally playing up or against boys then I will.

New teams will obviously have no data until games have been played. Teams that switched clubs will be reflected as new teams unless entire squads/majority switched over. At this point it really doesnt matter as I will be deleting old data as new data is generated this fall.

I only used the Spring season to get it up and running and see what it spit out.

@Middleclass... ask JM where your squad ranks... we had a good laugh today about it. haha

This is based on data collected so far.  I am gathering Spring SDL scores and will input them this week.  

Once we have several games for each team this fall I will begin to delete the old data and go fresh from the start of the fall.  There are several teams not reflected here as they are confirmed as playing 05s this fall.  If they have any 06 action this fall or at any time I will enter that data and reflect their ranking.  

Once the true FBR begins rolling out I will be posting in the same format as BW had previously.  For now.. have at it folks!! hehe

LFS belong somewhere between 5-10. Best opponents we (Liverpool Barnes) have played out of that group.

(I get available stats might not support that but speaking purely objectively.)

Yes, they did. FBR is stats driven though. Roach has several rather ugly losses on their schedule including near double digit losses to a 07 team early in the summer and more recently was beaten 5-3 by Spirit Weir #6 in the same tournament that Roach won.

That squad has real world changed and received an abundance of talent, as fall data accumulates all things will trully fall into place with FBR.

The fall kickoff showed if anything the top tier of the 06s is fairly close in talent and can compete with each other.... of course there is still Kicks Martinez out there....

Roach 06 and Kicks 06 square off this weekend in Plano in the 05 bracket... anyone have a line on that one? Haha

One last question (don't hold me to that), Isn't Texans Torres and Texans Moreno the same team? Thought I saw where she took over the team. Or is that another team?
Apparently Roach has improved dramatically, but last I checked, Kicks was still favored by a field goal.That line may have moved with some late Roach bets coming in this morning after this preliminary FBR.

Texans Moreno is not the same squad it had been under Torres. I probably should have zero'd out that teams wins/loses for now as it has seen major movement.

Sorry to burst any bubbles, but the starting lineup from Texans Torres as I was told by Skeets has moved on....
