'04 Girls FBR Rankings - 05-19-14 Empty '04 Girls FBR Rankings - 05-19-14

Current Rankings include game results from 1/30/14 through Present Date.  Games from the weekend of 1/25-1/26/14 were dropped from the history since the last rankings were posted.

Weekly Disclaimer and Other Notes:

1)  Liverpool '04 RASE is the de-facto #1 '04 girls team in NTX (unbeaten against any '04 NTX girls team for >1 year).  They are not included in the FBR at this time due to a lack of games played against '04 girls opponents in the past 16 weeks

2)  As stated above, games from the weekend of 1/25-1/26/14 were dropped from the history since the last rankings were posted.  If you don't think a team's movement from the previous ranking looks appropriate due to their results from this past week, it is likely due to a difference between the new games added vs the old games dropped from the history.

BW...hypothetically... If DTS would have won the game in regulation would that have put LFS at #1 and totally altered the top 5?

So I see Pulp (Wolfaneck), Goodman and Stark are now in the mix.
I gotta say its pretty tough to build a new team this late in the game, but these guys seem to be pulling it off. Pulp merged with the existing Wolf team, so I am not sure I am going to call that one as "new" anymore...but it did create a shift of some talent.

All 3 debuted in tournaments thas past week. Wolfaneck got 2nd in the CFBAL tourney, Goodman won Granbury Gold, and Stark won Shawnee Silver. Looks like things are coming together. I expect all three of these teams to be grouped close together around the 10-15 spot in a couple months.

It actually wouldn't have changed the ranking order, but it would have tightened up the point differential between Tx. Spirit, LFS Black, and DT South.

Correct. 1-0 and again in pk's in the final. Sting Diaz was trying different line-ups, players. And again this weekend coming up will be much of the same.

I'm no coaching expert but it seems to me that 2 head coaches are doomed to clash at some point. What happens when substitutions need to be made, who makes the call on when and who goes in/out. Not to mention no 2 coaches have the exact same philosophy. I do know one of these coaches and he leaves a lot to be desired as far as getting along with others sometime.

Yes they have merged teams. It is now Solar Chelsea 04 Pulpaneck-Abbott

As for this past weekend the 05s played with a few of Pulpaneck's 04s and friends. Girls had a good time and played some good soccer.

Solar 04 Pulpaneck-Abbott is playing in AFC Gold division this upcoming weekend.
