D3 Poll Surprises Empty D3 Poll Surprises

Post by InaB 24/08/14, 01:40 pm

So, in our first seasonal poll we have some surprises and poll upsets.

The vote for Liverpool Keagan and the Mustangs heavily favored Keagan. Those who predicted a tie won the day.

The vote for Fever vs Gunners was correct.

The overwhelming vote for Sporting over Sting Martin was wrong with Martin winning the day.

Sting Bruno and Flash were pretty evenly predicted and those who predicted a tie won the day.

Still waiting on Meja and FWFC.

Over all, it has been a great start to the regular season.

FWFC 1-0 in a hard fought physical game on both fronts. Entertaining game.

I picked Royal over The Chosen Ones, and to win the division. Haven't you learned that I'm always right except when I'm wrong??

Sting Royal was a good team three years ago when they were called Avalanche. Near as I can tell, they are always improving. I have a sneaky suspicion that they are well coached.

Who are "The Chosen Ones"? What were they chosen for? Who chose them?

I am surprised by the overwhelming support for Sporting in that poll result. Must have been mainly newbies voting, because anyone who has played/seen Sting Martin play, particularly last season and spring tourneys should know they can play. Not questioning the quality of Sporting, just the overwhelming nature of the support.

Well, if poll votes could win the game, I suspect we would have a lot of parents creating multiple aliases to pack the vote! Razz

Sting Royal (Avalanche) have always been solid and they are tough every time.
