00 D1 Predictions Wk 8

The last game has the incorrect opponent. The Andromeda game is against Sting North Garrett instead of Solar Hopper.

This will be a very interesting D1 scene this weekend. The top consist of a cluster of 3 teams tied for 13 points. Andro will have a tough weekend with Beau and his old TFC peer of the Garrett duo.

Noob, Noob, Noob....lemme help ya:

SF 0-2 Elite
SB 0-0 Andro (or Andro 1-0)
SP 0-0 Hopper (or SP 1-0)
Andro 2-0 Garrett (or Andro 1-0)

All will be close imo

Although I think BOTN is sandbagging a little with the SP score, I can not strenuously disagree with either of the above predictions...

Also, fuss ball, where are your predictions and prognostication?

SF v SE: 1-1, possibly 2-1 SE, but either way, I see Flanny, (7 GF in 4 matches, 1.75/match) scoring at least once. SE is makes me a little nervous- they seem to be doing just enough to win.

SB V Andro: 2-1... Assuming Andro can convert a CK in 6 or 7 tries... Brown is the 3rd highest team (8GF in 5 matches, 1.6/match) in divison, but Andro has only given up 2 GA in 6.  

SP V SH: 2-0. Hopper not getting any breaks in the schedule- they getting the #1 team in D1 this week.

Andro v Garrett: Andro, 2-0. Garrett giving up scores as of late... Wondering if they have injuries?

Absolutely not sandbagging in my predictions for that team. Historically this two teams match up well, so I'm gong with what's happened based on previous results that I've seen.

So, I'm right on all my picks.

Yes, but I am sure all teams do at this point in the season. Hopefully 3 or 4 of the injured players will be back this week.

That's a quarter of your of team, man! Hope nothing serious...

If you get 3 or more back, I'm adjusting my Andro-Garrett prediction to 1-0.

It's that time of year. All teams have injuries.
But of the 5 we had out against Brown I am hopeful we get 3-4 back for Sunday.  I know sting Brown has some players out too so that's just how it goes. Maybe last weekend off will help.  The Grado v Garrett matches are historically pretty tight matches.  Maybe the ball will bounce our way.

I was close on elite: got the goal differential right but 3-1 final was off.

And I was off on Sting P and Hopper: 4-1 SP

3-2?? Never expected that umber of goals. Wow.not a typical goal scoring day in LH

Andro was up 3-0 with 10 minutes left in game. Very nice come back by Sting Brown.

Didn't they do the same against Elite? The Brown team is fun to watch.
