01 ECNL Predictions (11/01 and 11/02)

Some good soccer this weekend.  It appears that Lonestar has FCD's number as they win the round 2 match up.  

Solar vs. Sting match lived up to the hype.  Sting scores at around 25 into the second half and and Solar comes back with a header on a corner and a PK conversion with about 6-7 mins left in the game.  Both teams played hard and it turned out to be a great game.  There is a lot of mutual respect between these two clubs....IMO.

All other games turned out as expected

NOV 1

DFeeters  vs. Sting   0-2  Sting is flat out a good team and they have an incredibly explosive offense.  

AFHC vs. Solar  0-5  Solar keeps offense rolling in this one.

Rush vs. FCD  0-1  Rush has only given up 12 goals this season...they must find a way to score of they want to win or tie this game.

Lonestar vs. Texans 2-1  Upset Alert - Lonestar seems to be finding their game.  Fast, physical and they can play offense when they want to.  An all-around good team.

NOV 2

Rush vs. TSC  2-2  Evenly matched contest....whoever has the best defensive showing will win this one.

Challenge vs. FCD  0-4  Too much talent on one side of the field for this matchup.

AFHC vs. Texans  0 - 3  Texans get their offense rolling in this game.

Good luck to the girls, should be pretty cool on Saturday.

Good game against Sting/Solar. Glad I tagged along to watch it. Liked how the girls were giving high-fives and some were even hugging each other at the end of the game. Good to see.
