FBR 08G September 30th 2015

Here it is...this initial FBR for the 08s

Current Rankings ONLY include game results from 04/15/2015 through Present Date.

Only full sided outdoor games against 08s will count for rankings.

Results from playing in development leagues SDL and EDL will not be considered.

FBR08G is publishing these rankings and maintaining the data.  The ranking methods, criteria, and formulas are all 100% the same as BWG's rankings in prior age groups with a slight variation.  The games from development leagues (EDL and SDL) will not be included in the rankings and the second variation is that games won in extra time will be recorded as a win and not a tie.  

The data has been collected for this age group for over a year and have consulted with BW Gophers for tiers and weights and general review of data.  The goal of this FBR is to provide a data driven unbiased look at the teams as they relate to each other.

Please keep in mind that this is a body of work that is published.  Because team A beat team B last week does not automatically mean team A is ranked higher than team B.  New games carry the same weight as old games.  

If your team is not included you can pm me and let me know where they are playing.  Minimum of 3 games against 08 teams to be included in the rankings.  

*note only one of the teams playing in PSA is reporting scores.

so i dont understand the win loss catagory...is it implying that majority of these teams have played 5 games or less since 4/15?

Where is STING North 08 Springate

Silly question....when a team is playing up in an age group, I guess they get ranked with that age group they are playing up into?

From what I know you need games against your own age group to be ranked. Kicks Selecao play boys platinum league this season. Only reason they are ranked is cause they played in a Girls 08 tournament and won that. Only reason they have 4 games played. I believe Sting North just formed in summer and have no games played against 08 teams.

That makes sense- it's like a soccer no man's land.

Look for the next FBR end of month. The initial plan for the first year is to update Monthy.  Next year will update bi-weekly, and weekly at U10.  There is very little movement week to week now.

If your team isn't showing up here pm me.  Only games against 08 teams count and EDL and SDL will be excluded.
