Did anyone watch the espn show on crumb rubber fields last night? It basically says the rubber in field turf has been shown to contain carcinogens and toxic substances such as arsenic, lead and cadmium; and congress has recently asked EPA if crumb rubber turf is safe for young athletes.
The NFL’s Injury and Safety Panel study found that ACL injuries happened 88 percent more often in games played on Field Turf than in games played on grass.

here is a link to the Oct 23, 2015 letter from the US Congressional House Energy and Commerce Committee to the EPA Administrator looking for more information about the hazards of exposure to carcinogens on artificial turn athletic fields.

Studies have revealed goalies get more exposed to the toxic PM 2.5 since they are hitting the turf more than field players.

Probably true...but i know a few teams/flop'ers that can compete with the goalie
