05 AP team Playing U11 in Tourneys

We are an 05AP team wanting to play U11 in the Spring / Summer tournament season to get prepared for LH QT and the Fall 11v11 league play.

Does anybody know if most tournaments will allow this since our team is made up with some U11 05s and some U10 05s? I know the Dallas Open is good and The MJP Classic is too.

We were interested in the Cowtown Classic, but inquiries to the TD have gone unanswered to whether they will do that or not. Someone told me that they thought the NTSSA rules will not allow this. If so, then why does the Dallas Open allow it?

I appreciate any help or advice on this if anybody knows the answer.

I believe the issue at hand is regarding the sanctioning body.

In tournaments that accept US Club santioned rosters it is allowed. In tournaments that require a NTSSA sanctioned roster it would not be because NTSSA does not allow a U10 player or below to play with select teams.

Similar to how current U10s are able to play with select teams in Primetimes league, but not in Lake Highlands or boys classic league.

Ok I see, that's why the Dallas Open allows it but the Cowtown Classic probably does not, since they are USYS.

Doesn't make sense this season because of the changes... you would think they would allow that with all the changes going on with the teams going age pure and being mixed in the 05 born age group. Thanks

League Challenge Cup May 13-15
Dallas Open May 27-20
Premier Copa June 10-12

Thanks Mike - we are definitely playing in the Dallas Open and the Premier Copa.

If we are unable to play any NTSSA sanctioned bodied tourneys, then we will probably play the League Challenge Cup too.
