Stoke City Potters ID Camp

GSSC Thunder is proud to announce our 2nd Annual Stoke City Potters ID.

Saturday June 11th Thru Tuesday June 14th, 2016

GSSC last year partnered with Stoke City of the English Premier League to run ID camps for our Academy and Select players age 9-18 years old in order that we could provide a further opportunity, other than the usual college route, for our young players to receive recognition and hopefully progress their soccer dreams.  
With it being our first year we wished to keep the camps small so that we could gauge the partnership and its worthiness in providing exactly what we were hoping to achieve for our young players.  I'm pleased to say that last year 8 players from the 54 attending the GSSC Camp were recognized and invited to Georgia to attend the National Camp.  These 8 players joined others from around the country who participate in the partnership and some very talented and fortunate players are identified and invited to attend the Stoke City Academy in England during the month of April.  Once again GSSC was delighted that one of our very own 03G Black team players received this opportunity and is currently planning to attend the UK ID Camp this month.
