How did Fever end up in D1? They were 2nd in D2 last year and did not win the D1 playoff tournament. Not sure how the wrangled that D1 spot.

I am not reading your post as an indictment of their ability, and I don't know logistically how it happened, but if they return the same team (last year's 00s minus 4-5 99s), they are very capable of competing in that division...I am not sure that will happen.

My post wasn't meant to say they didn't belong talent wise (even though I know they are losing some top talent), but to ask mechanically how did they end up in D1? I guess LH just made the choice to stick them there even though they never earned or inherited a D1bye?? Seems a little peculiar... I never knew LH to be that benevolent to a team not from the big 5.

No doubt...didn't think you were...and I agree. Maybe numbers pushed it? There are several byes that seem odd on paper...85% make sense on some level. My guess is that their results for years have put them in that seat. Their roster changes are as unpredictable as everyone else's...hope for the best. Find out what cards others hold when you show up at the table...I like our cards...but D1 in the 99s is gonna be brutal...D2 is gonna be competitive...from what I can tell, D3 and all the divisions in the 00s look fun too...I am actually excited about the coming year...hope it is just relax and play soccer...

Ok, so Hopkins got Pulpaneck's bye, let's hope Hopkins doesn't run another team into the ground. As for Solar Gold glad to see you guys were able to pick a bye and stay in D1.
But the real important question is...where did Pulp go?

Actually my understanding is the SG got the Pulp bye... Hopkins was D1 and just stayed in D1 on there own bye...

I will let DO3 confirm my limited knowledge and he is also in a better position to let the rest of us know the Solar Elite teams plans, but my inkling is that they are focusing on the higher leagues such as CL and PL or national league or whatever other leagues there are outside of LH...

Allow me to clarify, this season Hopkins kept the bye with the help of ECNL players in key they would have otherwise lost. Cross reference the ENCL games with the LH games and tournament losses.

I was actually referring to the Missimo Bye, how many players remained with the team after the transition?

Two things...First, I don't have access to all the rosters before the games, so I can't speak to how many games and players were CPP'd and DR'd, but from what I see, EVERY team in D1 will have equal footing next year as far as CPP and DR since It is 3 Solar, 2 DTX, 3 Sting, and 2 FCD...all have ECNL, all have each other...maybe there can be a Game of Thrones agreement? LOL.

As far as byes go...I believe that Pulp is forming a team to focus on NPL and showcases, but some of their roster goes to Hopkins...the next Solar team up was SG...which, looking how teams fell, would have been that spot anyway...looks to me like brown is gone and Garrett took that Sting bye?? Then SG's bye to next up Solar=Silver...which if you drop the byes puts them bottom of the D2 list anyway. I don't find much to worry about with the byes. I thought FCDE was hosed, but they are in U19 instead of U18...so no complaints from me about making the bye list based on final standings.

I can go on record at this point and say that AT THIS AGE...IMO LH actually got this about as close to right as it could be given the circumstances...big clubs seem to have gotten their spots, but small clubs also seem to have had a decent deal. I haven't looked at all the ages...nor do I miss a lot of sleep worrying about it, but it looks about like it should based on final results last year.

More importantly today, does anyone think anyone is working in Cleveland today? Not a huge basketball fan, but that was a great game last night.

I have heard this team has fallen apart with the change in coaching. Anyone else able to confirm?

Okay I am curious is this list final yet. With QT just a few days a way. Curious if there are truly only 4 spots open and if the number will show itself before or after QT. if there is four it will be an interesting battle. I think 6 of the teams entered this weekend in King Tut will be playing in the QT.

For some reason this seems similar to last year where there is 4 on the game day we come to find out that there is 6/7. I could be wrong. So the question does anyone really know.
