08 Secret League

My daughter was playing an indoor game this past weekend and I over heard people talking about how these top ranked teams are putting together a league just for them. Is this even possible? It must be organized by someone or some league? How does someone get all these teams from different clubs to come together and make a league? Can we get our daughters team into this league? Anyone else hear of this and know who is organizing this?

It's on a need to know basis. If you haven't heard about it there's a reason.

You have JDL for select teams from ECNL clubs and then you have the crappy academy teams that created EDL at the Spectrum. So if you have enough friends, and fields, one could create whatever league they wanted I suppose.

Well to be eligible for this league you have to be a member in good standing of either The Illuminati, The Rosicrucians or Bilderberg. We used to accept the Freemasons but had to kick them out. The whole secret handshake thing just got to confusing.

It's starting to look like UAL will be the secret league this year. Nobody will be able to find it.

This is simply a Super Academy division. I played in a Super Select division growing up. It was by invitation only and contained D1 and best of the best D2 teams. It was a great experience and believe me if you weren't invited to this, don't worry, these teams will be playing at a much higher level (9v9) and may not make sense for your player. But if you truly believe otherwise, contact me I may be able to help you.

This league allows the top teams to ensure a quality opponent each week so they can develop. This also opens up the rest of the 08G teams not involved to play competition closer to their level and not get steamrolled.

and not just any team manager...a team manager who played in a Super Select division including the best of the best D2 teams.

It turns out that the team manager for the Dallas Texan Molano team Joe Hanly was the person who put this private league together. Some of the coaches I have spoken with lately say this league is better than the current JDL league. Here is a list of teams in this league if you are wanting your daughter to play on a competitive team.

Their seems to be a conflict of interest that this manager has created. Hopefully this manager communicated with the heads of Sting, FC Dallas, Texans, and Solar before going rogue. If he has not , then let the fireworks commence.

JDL has an 08 league? I thought it began at U11.

It's the JJDL - Junior Junior Development League.

No you wont find it there..one would have to go to secretleagues/jjdl.com to find the schedules...

There is no secret league or a JJDL league formed.
