Building a '00 FC Dallas FORT WORTH team Empty Building a '00 FC Dallas FORT WORTH team

FC Dallas is looking to expand their branch in the Fort Worth area. Looking for committed players who are willing to work hard and learn. I strive to teach lessons that go beyond the soccer field. I have worked for numerous coaches and so many of them lack the discipline of genuinely interacting with their players. North Texas soccer seems to become more and more about the money and less about the fundamentals of the game. Don't get me wrong, good coaches exist, locating them is the tough part.

I can personally guarantee that your child will become a better soccer player on my team. I am completely invested in making each and every one of my players exceed their expectations. I hold very high expectations for my players and will accept nothing less. For this '00 team my main focus will be enhancing their vision of the field and utilizing all positions off a counter attack. Foot skills, team bonding and strength/conditioning are also top of my training list with these girls. As of now, we have a solid 8 players that are committed to the team. I am big on direct, open communication. Since this is an older girls team, it is imperative that parents are willing to talk to me about the expectations of their child.

Open practice details are currently being figured out. All practices during regular season will be held in Fort Worth, most likely on the WEST side of FW.

I repeat, we will not travel to Dallas for league play. I am not at all interested in building a super team to take to Dallas. In my opinion, it is overrated and too many players get hurt out there. The fees are atrocious and let's be honest, the league isn't what it used to be! Don't get me started on the lengthy drive. Again, there will be no convincing me to take these girls to Dallas. If that is what you are looking for, then we are not the team for you.

These next couple of months will determine where your athlete will continue their soccer career. Choose wisely, best wishes to everyone and good luck in your search for that perfect team!

Please contact me if you have any questions, comments or concerns.
I have plenty of references and willing to share with those interested.

Thanks for your time and consideration,

Whitney Chappell
