Michael Johnson Performance Speed & Agility Camp 7/31-8/3

Michael Johnson Performance (MJP) is holding a Soccer Speed and Agility Camp.
Designed for soccer players and athletes ages 9-14 (any level), this camp will utilize age appropriate training to increase speed, agility, change of direction quickness, angular speed, and power, while enhancing overall performance and increasing soccer skills. Athletes will be dived into training groups based upon age.

Date: 7/31 – 8/3 (Mon-Thurs)
Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Where: MJP, 6051 Alma Road, McKinney, TX 75070
Cost: $349/athlete; bring a friend/sibling $329/athlete

Athletes will develop a deeper understanding of new training techniques and have a blast in a fun-packed environment with skill enhancing games, expert instruction and time in our outdoor pool while making new friends. Athletes are encouraged to ask questions to ensure they understand the “why” behind the training, with the goal of incorporating these lessons into their training after the camp and on the pitch for improved performance.
Time will be split between indoors and outdoors, with over half the time spent on MJP’s outdoor turf field (with appropriate water breaks in the shade) and in the pool on Tuesday/Thursday.

Typical day:
9:00 - 930am – Preview of current day training / video session / review of previous day’s training / Q&A
9:30 - 12:00pm – Speed, agility, change of direction, angular speed, power, (age appropriate) training and games; (on Tues/Thurs soccer skills will be in the morning)
12:00 - 1:00pm – Lunch inside MJP facility
1:00 - 3:00pm – Soccer skills (Mon/Wed) or pool/speed agility skill games (Tue/Thur)

An "All Sport" Speed & Agility Camp will be held 8/7-8/10, as well.
