Chelsea's new kits are Nike

Looks like new kits again at solar. Not an Adidas powered club anymore if they remain under Chelsea.

The Nike kits do not look as good as the Adidas. Boring!

Cost for those Nike Replicas will be expensive.

Solar isn't affiliated with Chelsea anymore.

So no affiliation, so all new kits this year to remove the Chelsea badges.

No, I believe the Solar Chelsea Adidas kits were two years old so it was the normal cycle time to get new kits. For those teams that were Andromeda before the merger they only had the Solar Chelsea kits for one year (Andromeda was wearing Under Armour).

Sure, those Chelsea home blue replica's have changed every year for the past three years. I believe the white one was new last year, but yeah it's the end of a two year cycle time for new kits. Adidas loves the business hence all the money you can make off an Adidas premiere club. Yes definatly better than the shit under armor is putting out!

Warmups and bags are being used again this year so they will be on different 2 yr cycle than kits. Every year one or the other will be replaced.

The kit the year before was new with the new chelsea sponser. The kit last year was also new with minor changes to chelsea jersey, shorts, and warmups. And I see the kit this year is new too.

Solar parent told me they were switching to Nike.

What?

The new kit this year is still Adidas.

Wait a second, horn blower is just blowing smoke up or butts. Can we see a picture of these new adidas kits. Maybe next year you can buy new Nike kits.

One of the kits is hard to tell if it is the home white or the blue. Help!

Very easy to understand:
Chelsea signed a contract to switch from Adidas to Nike. To maintain an affiliation, Solar would have needed to switch as well. Texans have a long-standing relationship with Nike and are their top club in the area. Choosing to stay with Adidas and be their top area club (different from the MLS affiliation that Adidas has with FCD) was better than maintaining the Chelsea affiliation.

The new kits are very sharp and establish a Solar, rather than affiliate, identity. I thought it was a great decision by the administration of the club.

Texans (rightly, IMHO) made a similar decision when ManU signed their mega-deal to leave Nike for Adidas. They chose to keep ties with Nike.

Speaking of the new Solar kits, has anyone received theirs yet? We ordered ours back when we got the link from our manager in early July but haven't received them yet. Soccer Corner had said 2-3 weeks to complete the order but we're now 4 weeks in and nothing.

DD has a tournament this weekend so cutting it a little close.

We got the practice uniform, backpack, ball and white uniform (pretty sharp looking too). We still are waiting on the rest

We got white and practice uniforms as well. We had numbers on the practice shirt to be worn this weekend instead of blue away jersey. I'd check with your team manager if you haven't heard anything.

We are wearing the practice jersey's with the numbers this weekend as Adidas can't give a definitive answer as to WHEN they will ship or if they have. I don't think anyone has the new home jerseys which is crazy.

We have all uniforms but no bag. Go figure?
