Looking for feedback on this tournament... well run, quality of college coaches in attendance, were there many coaches at each of your games, or anything else you can think of that would be beneficial in deciding if a team should go.

Nice tournament, nice area, and you play different teams. Last year was freezing.

Don't recall seeing any coaches but we were U14, gold but maybe a year or two too young?

My kiddo did it one year.. it was literally 15 degrees at kickoff one morning... the tears froze on the cheek. Not even joking...

The Lonestar Showcase event in February down in Austin has a TON of college coaches, TON.

There were a lot of coaches there a couple of years ago. Mostly D2 & D3 schools from the east, but Miss State and Alabama were hanging around. Good officiating.. one of our games had a World Cup ref. Nice fields. Lots of parking, but the exit gets jammed up. A good number of competitive teams from across the US, and a few international. In my opinion it's a solid tournament. And like said above, hard to beat Elvis, ribs, blues and moonshine, ..and wear warm clothing.

After Adidas's decision at a recent basketball tournament to pull female officials MIDGAME, due to complaints from a coach opposed to women referees, I wouldn't take any girls teams to an Adidas event.
