Sounds like something that the majority of COACHES in NTX could benefit from.

I've spoken to players and coaches from a number of clubs in the N TX area and haven't met any players (other than the teams I have worked with at LFCIA) that have received mental skills training or sports psychology advice of any kind. If they do, I'd love to hear specifically what they work on. The demand is definitely there!

When we talk about the four pillars of the game (technical, tactical, physical, psych), the psych aspect is the one piece that is most neglected. Yet we talk about it all the time...every game we analyze performance based on motivation, competitiveness, resilience...but we don't train or practice these aspects.

This is what I hope to do. Educate players, coaches, teams, parents and show that mental skills training should be a crucial part of an athletes program (athletes of all levels).
