FBR09 Rankings April 30th, 2018

Updated 09 FBR as of 4/30/18. Only 09 teams with 3 or more games played since 11/18/17 are included in the FBR published rankings. All games in the U9 leagues and tournaments that "publish results" are included.  

***Also added the missing Arlington Academy Games and The Texas Lightning Showcase and Youth Cup 2018***

FBR09 will also include any 09 teams playing against each other in the 08 division.  As long as the teams that are playing up are not using 08 players when playing against each other 09 teams.

Also, ranking points are derived from who you play and their tier(not your own tier) and, how well the teams you play do.  As always regulation scores are used for FBR, not OT and no PKs that determine game result(if known).  FBR is presented as W/L/T not W/T/L.  This FBR is the sole representation of FBR09,  any and all complaints(and compliments) should be directed to FBR09.  These rankings use the same software and criteria as with all prior year FBRs.

Interesting drop from Tallal Central. 21 spots despite the fact that they keep winning. Maybe a correction from having them ranked too high before?

I was looking at that with our team as well. We dropped 1 place, despite winning our
2 2009 games since the last published list. The team that bumped up lost 1 and won 1. Games fall off the front end, whether it be wins or losses so that impacts the ranking just as much as team continuing to win. Tallal had 2 wins and a tie fall off. One of the wins that fell off was against the team ranked #10, so that probably did it. The wins during the
current rankings time frame are from teams ranked lower than 40, so while the team is winning it will stay within the tiers of the opponents played. 21 spots does seem like a lot though!

Yea strength of schedule is what's getting ya. Playing a lot of teams ranked in the bottom half of the rankings almost weighs you down as much as it helps you. Tournament season about to start so the more quality teams you play the better you standing.

So rumor has it DTS is done, say it ain't so.

What do you mean by done? The club is disbanding?

Not done, just not DTS anymore... More like SS.
