Hello, we are moving from Dallas towards Ft Worth in the Summer and we are shopping for a new team for my son, who has played last year on a D1 team. We are bringing him to try out with a few different clubs and wanted to potentially bring him to your on 6/4. But after reading the previous boy's soccer website, the rumor was that this team carried 16 kids last year. Is this normal with this team? Is it going to be the same this year? I just don't want to waste our time (or yours) if the coach plans on having such a large roster.
Please advise.

Forget about my question above.....asked it twice....I guess I'm not going to get a response...at least the other teams on this forum were open about this. Not a big deal as we ended up getting the answer anyway....
we went to Richland College last weekend to watch some of the D1 teams. Looks like this team played tough, despite seeing 16 kids on the roster....oh well...

It does say “please contact coach or manager directly with any questions”...and then gives contact information.
In my experience, no coach is going to tell you they plan on carrying 16. Most will tell you that they are looking to carry 12-13 to keep the bench light so kids get lots of playing time. Reality is this doesn’t always happen. Things come up, kids get hurt, players get added.
Also, lots of guest players trying out teams right now, so I wouldn’t judge a team by it’s tournament roster size.
