FC Dallas 07 GIRLS JDL/LH D1 open tryouts May 23 & 24, and 29 & 31st at FC Dallas field 18.

If you click on the link, Cory TenBrink is just a the FCD contact, and he has D3 Level team.

Dan and Kat have the top 3 FCD teams and are coaching the JDL/LH D1 teams.

So is Mariscal or Webb coaching this age group?

The open tryout page says Tenbrink?

Actually Dan and Kat have 2 of the 3 top FCD teams. Michelle Hjalber actually coaches the FCD 07 JDL Blue team (currently ranked #2 in the LHGCL behind only Solar Kennington.)

So, to be clear, Dan and Kat are coaching 2 of the top FCD 07 teams, together? And Michelle has the 3rd?

Seems strange, Dan Mariscal jumping in as a second coach to Kat Webb's current team. I thought they'd be passed off to Dan, no?

From what I have heard, Dan is starting a pre-DA 07 team that is comprised of the core of Kat’s current 07 JDL team (JDL red). Kat will still coach the Premier Team (her current 2nd team). Michelle’s team has thus far emerged as the top performing FCD 07 team in LHGCL Div 1 (tho the season is not over yet) and Michelle's Roster is remaining largely untouched. All three teams are good. If you had to name the “top two” for FCD next year, it would be Dan’s pre-DA team and Michelle’s 07 JDL Blue team unless something crazy happens. (Which in NTX soccer is anybody’s guess)

Question, Michelle's roster untoched - they are choosing to stay together over going to the "pre academy"?

And does anyone know what leagues/age groups these 07 teams will be playing in

Yes from what I understand the vast majority of Michelle’s players elected not to try out for Dan’s pre-DA team. Dan’s team will play up in 06 (not sure what league). As far as I know Michelle’s team will remain LH and 07 JDL.

So Im confused. IF KW going to be in D1, Premier has to take Reds spot. Premier got toasted vs next years D1. 8-1, 8-1, 7-0, 6-0, 4-0, 3-0. They still have to play Texans, who can run up a goal count. Pre-da team going to help like SRSA did this yr? Lil Suzi either gets stomped in a league, above her level or rides bench for Pre-Da helpers. We'll be out Weds, sign us up!

Being fair, he did say the Pre-da will be comprised of "the core" of KW red jdl team, so that could mean a lot of things. If only 5-6 moved to Dan, the same amount could be staying and joining with the best from premier, which would definitely help those scores.
But if the rest of the PreDa team isn't coming from Michelle's, where? (although I get the impression from the wording above, maybe Michelle just lost 1 or 2, correct or not?)

Will be interesting to see where the players come from. Not hearing of mass exodus of top end players anywhere.
