Dallas Texans West 09G will be holding open training for their Top 09G academy team that will be Playing in the NEW Lake Highlands Girls Academy League for the upcoming season. DT West has an automatic berth into the league and will be strengthening the age Group.
Tryouts will be at Colleyville HS, the invitation will be open to our athletes and athletes from outside of the club.
The head coach for this age group will be announced within the next days.

The Clubs were granted three slots, as per the information that I got yesterday. The club grants them to what may appear to be the top three teams in their academy system. After that, the divisional director will appoint a coach to a team or they will hold open tryouts.
Coach Diaz (West Director) has not yet informed me as to who the coach for this 09 group will be. This does not mean that he has NOT already talked to the coach that will be in charge of coaching this team.
I have been informed that the tryouts will be sometime next weekend. Just waiting for details.

Interesting. I would have assumed the three teams to make it would be Samba, Salsa and Moreno. According to your post, one of these teams won’t make it in. I wonder how their coaches, parents and kids will feel about that?
