Spring Showcase schedule is out. Excited for our girls to play in their first DA Showcase. Looks like FC Dallas has some really tough opponents and Solar too. Our first match is against a team that is currently ranked one spot higher than us in the youthsoccerrankings poll, that should be a fun match. Looking forward to our division dominating the showcase!

Gonna be some great games. Hopefully your kids remember they have a midfield and don’t play d to forward all game. Could be a chance to learn some real soccer.

Thought parents outgrew YSR after U10

It appears bootball and tackling are not working already. Two losses at showcase and 3-1 butt kicking by solar today. How does it feel ?

Yes, I’ve seen this team play several times, bootball is a very accurate way to describe the play. Have you heard the DB coach on the sidelines? Good stuff. The people who like to watch good soccer cringe.

How many red cards before league bans a player . I have videos of red card plays of this particular ok energy 05 player. She Has growing reputation of making American safety plays and injuring players left and right.

FWIW, coach is gone next year. Known problem that was dealt with. Can't develop players and embarrassment to entire org.
This is not how all age groups play and generalizing only makes you a dickhead.

People in Oklahoma have experienced the Energy/OFC brand of soccer for years. Physically maul teams around here and when the skilled teams that were developed start beating them the next step is to take over that club or buy their coaches. Next in line is their neighbor to the south who is adopting their techniques. But hey, these are the clubs USYOUTH and USCLUB chose to prop up so enjoy!

In Oklahoma we have what I would call patchitis. Bad teams got invited to good leagues and are now getting their butts kicked frequently. But they will still tell you how great they are. The majority of OFC/Energy teams have always played this way. Same with other clubs. I suppose the only good thing is these clubs lack of coaching and development is being exposed regionally versus just locally.

I am informed the kid in the video is in market training. If this is the brand of Soccer this DOC promotes , the club should be kicked out of the DA.
Some clubs have lost their spots this year already. I won’t be surprised if Energy is under scrutiny for wrong reasons.

I am not even sure WTF "market training" means, but if you read anything above your own post you'd realize that this is NOT promoted by the DoC and is more of a coach-based play style. That coach is no longer in charge of this team, thankfully. And no one has lost their spot in DA for play.. it's been for other reasons.
