Information for my 2011 daughter in North Dallas?

We have obviously missed the window this season, but I am interested in finding a team for my 2011 birthdate daughter convenient from North Dallas (Preston Hollow). Most of the teams seem to have practice in Plano or further north. She has played in YMCA rec leagues for several years, but has the ability and interest in something more competitive.

You haven't missed any windows, so don't let that hold you back from trying out some teams now. Club teams and coaches are always interested in new players coming out and they can join at any time, especially good players. Most of the league games have been rained out this fall, so there will be some make-ups, in addition to a lot of tourneys in Nov./Dec., plus many teams will also play futsal/indoor over the winter.

You are correct that the majority of teams practice in the suburbs, but there are some with teams that practice more centrally. Take a look at D'Feeters, Dallas Texans, Dallas Cosmos, Sting, FC Dallas and their teams with more central practice locations. Check out their websites and information for teams your daughter's age. They provide contact info and you can take it from there in regard to joining for training, which will then lead to the rest. I recommend trying out more than one option to try and get a feel for the coach and the families involved if you don't already have some friends on teams.

Also you could look into Highland Park Soccer Academy (HPSA). They have a 2011 team and if interested in playing up there is a 2010 team as well. They practice at the Highlander Stadium.

We practice at the JCC on Monday’s and Wednesday. It is located at 75 and Forest.

She would definitely be eligible, just up to you if you think it would be a great fit for her.
