Why is FC Dallas fleecing their FDL teams?

U15-17 FDL teams pay club dues to play FDL league games.

THEN FCD collects $825 in team dues for the FCD Showcase - and schedules games against FDL teams to count as league games. Evil or Very Mad

Will FC Dallas be rescheduling their previously scheduled games against Solar that day?

What does it matter to you? Are you an FCD parent? Or are you an advocate for all the poor FCD parents that are getting constantly fleeced by FCD? Seems to me by the look of the schedule, FCD, Houston Dash and OK Energy in those three age groups you mentioned are only playing each other and only two games each. Maybe FCD isn't charging these teams for this tournament. (I have no idea if they are by the way). Maybe the three clubs are being smart and scheduled these games while the college coaches are in town. Unless you are a parent with a DD on one of these teams, it really shouldn't matter to you.

couldn't this be said about any parent paying for club soccer anywhere? Through the years I have probably paid out over 70K for dues, training clinics, travel etc. Had lots of fun and some very cool memories.

FCD probably fleeces their teams just as much as any club. Its...the way it is.

It's unethical behavior like this that should be called out on these clubs.

People on here calling out unethical coaches - what about clubs / club management that condones or encourages it?

just wait till state cup when the coaches load up the rosters with unicorn guests and the minutes your DDs were getting in regular season evaporate like rain on a hot August day in Texas. State Cup is an expensive tournament for FCD parents to watch guest play while their DDs "develop" from the bench
