What's Goin' On at Texans 05DA?

There is this Texans 05DA parent who I assume has the blessing of someone at the club, is going around trying to recruit at the same time disparaging other players and coaches. How can you recruit others by saying bad things about your own players and coaches? This person claims to have the power to recruit and decide who will stay and play with the adorable Little' Messi, the club has even agreed for this person not to pay club fees now and in the future. What strike me is this person is calling and talking to us to come over while at the same time this person is badmouthing some of the players he wants kicked off the team. some of those players we know them and feel bad about joining a team like that where club lets a parent makes the call on who to stay and who to cut. This is even before the tryouts. It could be us next. who knows. Sorry, we are happy where we are without such drama.

If you are happy then what is your intended outcome by sharing this information? if it is for the people then give specifics so people can actually know what/who to watch out for.

Agree Perro.. you too huh?? It sounds a lot like the Texans 05DA is a parent ran team, no coach decisions are needed when you have the elite education of a parent to tell him who and who is not worthy of this elite team. the players are ALL bad mouthed by the majority of the parents, just spend 5 minutes on their sidelines. Unfortunately the negative parental opinions are effecting their DD’s attitude toward their teammates. there is a lot of finger pointing going on amongst themselves for their lack of success. It is a pretty ugly situation for our friends on the team. Uncalled for the way their daughter is talked about. I Didn’t know that about the no dues but makes sense why the parent is so diligently trying to recruit, probably getting a deal for every soccer star he brings to the team... Not really buying the BS being told all over north Texas...

Not apart of but was apart of...it does sound like a familiar scenario. Texans took on a lot of players last year with what seemed like a “first come first served” approach. They filled the rosters and made them DA. So I’m sure there is a parent or two that wants more for the squad so he or she said “by any means necessary I’m going to try and turn this thing around my damn self!!” Not really a good approach bashing others because you risk causing tension between you and the other members that might just end up staying...oh and the coaches. BTW, parents suck at building superteams. You have to be a great recruiting coach to acquire and or poach quality players and also have benefits to offer from the club. That particular parent has some work cut out for them.

No one is dumb enough to believe anything and everything. If I am looking for a club for my dd. I would look for a developmental coach , playtime , desired position and a team that wants my kiddo.
My 03 daughter plays DA for Texans. And some of the new staff Texans added are phenomenal , have a passion and commitment to put players in front of D1 coaches in showcases.
It is easy to type crap with a screen name. Check out the Texans 03s play or talk to the 03 parents.
I believe 05s have the same coach.

Because the coach’s contract probably hasn’t expired yet at the club Hassan is hiring him from.

If you DD is good enough and they want her on the team they will tell you.
