Great New Soccer Group on Facebook

Here is a great new group on Facebook to go along with the great information provided here. Please join the group.

The 6000 member one has weird dynamics and only 1 normal admin of the 3.
More people doesn't necessarily mean better.

This one is great too . . . if you want to be manipulated by some twit.

If you want an admin who suspends postings until you vote for his kid on some stupid "who made the greatest shot" poll, then this is the group for you.  

If you want an admin who takes down negative posts about his club, then this is the perfect group for you.

If you want an admin who acts like he is a 5-year-old taking his ball and going home when he doesn't get his way, then this group is for you.


If you want a group that isn't shaded by the admin's personal agenda and disrupted by his hissy fits, then you should probably look elsewhere.

I enjoy that page, but it is my own preference. You’re free to chose what you want and like. BTW - it is funny how most of the people who complain on that page, still hang out in there even though they have expressed over and over their strong dislike for one of its admins. If you don’t like it, just follow once and for all their instructions, press the “leave group” bottom. Don’t be that rash that never goes away. Just my two cents. You’ll be a happier person. I promise!! ;-)

Like I said - if you are looking for an independent North Texas Facebook group, free of the admin's personal agendas, then this is not the group for you.

Fortunately, I don’t need to hide behind sissy screen names and talk about other players or coaches. One reason why I started that group...some of you keyboard tough guys are more than welcome to come to the group with your face on you profile and talk shit. But you won’t bc you are cowards. My agenda... well it seems pretty self explanatory and have had many people thank me for starting that site... it’s for the kids...some of you wouldn’t understand, as you can’t stand seeing anyone but your own kid or club grow...this site is great too. I like to come see all the cowards talk shit about each other. But I must say, I would really like to have the weekly predictions back. Good day!

What kind of douche freezes people's accounts until they vote for his kid on some stupid site?  Are you that desperate to get people to stroke your ego?  The group was great, until your personal agenda took over.

I don't think it has anything to do with being cowards....more that you can have opinions behind an alias that will not have an impact on your kids. The majority of the conversations that happened here are much more valuable than 85% of the garbage on the forum. And I say "happened" because as our kids get older the less these discussions mean and definitely could care less what comments you have heard at the fields or what team showed up to play your kids. AND those who thanked you use the site to advertise and promote (which is great.) I have a strong opinion about topics but would never post because I don't want my daughter to have the baggage.
