Hi y'all, this year my club is pushing this injury / sport insurance plan to parents, and I wanted to know if anyone had any experience with it? The company is called ussci and they say that theyll reimburse me for games that my kid misses due to an injury. I just wanted to know if anyone here had any experience with it, and if so was it worth it?

Yes we had a player last year that had a season ending injury, so they were able to use the insurance. It's well worth it... for the "just in case". It only costs you around $35-45 (total cost to you - only one payment) for the lower plan. Definitely worth it. What happens if your child experiences a season-ending injury in the fall, you will have paid club dues and team fees and won't get any use out of that investment. The insurance kicks in and pays you back for the percentage of time you will miss for the rest of the year. It just has to be a SEASON-ENDING injury.
